to_placeholder¶

DataFrame.to_placeholder(name=None)[source]¶

Generates a Placeholder from the current DataFrame.

Args:

name (str, optional):: The name of the placeholder. If no name is passed, then the name of the placeholder will be identical to the name of the current data frame.

Returns:

Placeholder:: A placeholder with the same name as this data frame.
