set_subroles

DataFrame.set_subroles(cols, subroles, append=True)

Assigns one or several new subroles to one or more columns.

Args:

columns (str, FloatColumn, StringColumn, or List[str, FloatColumn, StringColumn]):

The columns or the names thereof.

subroles (str or List[str]):

The subroles to be assigned. Must be from subroles.

append (bool, optional):

Whether you want to append the new subroles to the existing subroles.
